IMPD Task Force  - Community Meeting

Every quarter, the IMPD Northwest District hosts the Task Force Meeting at the office at 4005 Office Plaza Dr. While it is called Task Force, it is more like a community meeting for the entire Northwest District. We also have refreshments at every Task Force meeting (sandwiches, drinks, and cookies!!!).

At the Task Force meetings, IMPD invites guest speakers to come and talk to the community. These speakers, such as the deputy coroner and a battered spouse advocate, share their insights for ten to twenty minutes.

We also encourage community members with a program they're passionate about to contact IMPD’s Commander Lorenzo Lewis. This is your chance to share your knowledge and make a difference in our community. At the Task Force meeting, IMPD provides a monitor if you need one for your presentation.

At the Task Force meeting, the Northwest district's command staff and the Community Resource Unit are available for a question-and-answer session. If you ever have had a question for the police or the crime watch specialist for the Northwest district, the Task Force is a great relaxed atmosphere to ask those questions.

The next Task Force meeting is scheduled for September 12th, 2024, at 6 PM.

If you have questions about the Task Force, please call Jeffery Osborn, crime watch specialist NWD, at 317-327-6572.

We're eagerly looking forward to seeing you there!!!
